Hi, I’m Jon. I build websites and help artists grow their creative business online. I used to work in tech. Now I work for artists people like my wife, a plein air painter, and my friends in the ceramic studio.

It Started with Some Really Graphic Art

Back in college, I was studying photography and graphic design and making some truly terrible digital art (don’t worry, I’ve improved). I ended up dropping out to join a fast-growing startup called Zynga, where I worked as an artist and later as a product manager. That kicked off 15+ years building apps, games, and creative tools for massive audiences.

Why Artists?

After years in tech, I hit a crossroads. I realized I didn’t want to keep building things just to chase scale. I wanted to build things that actually helped people especially artists.

I’ve seen how AI, algorithms, and digital clutter make it harder than ever for real creators to be seen. But I’ve also seen how powerful the right tools and support can be. I decided to use what I know design, strategy, storytelling, operations to help artists thrive on their own terms.

What I’m Doing Today

Right now I focus on:

Product photography & video
Personal branding & storytelling
Light marketing & operations consulting
(Shipping help, event planning, pricing, etc.)

Note: I’m mostly working with fine artists and makers ceramicists, painters, etc. but I’m excited to expand as this grows.
